The Honda VFR and VF is a range of motorcycles first introduced by Honda in 1982 featuring V4 engines. Before Honda decide to run with them, the V4 engine hadn’t been used much for motorcycles except by Matchless. The V4 engine had distinct advantages, like perfect primary balance, offering extremely low vibrations and a smooth ride. It was a narrow compact engine which was very reliable with exceptional build quality. The VFR engine went through many modifications and improvements during its lifetime.
