Slinky Glide offer top quality fork tubes or stanchions, available to buy individually for most classifications of motorcycle such as sports, off-road, adventure, classic or street bikes. Motorcycle front forks work really hard out on the road, they are constantly in motion encountering a barrage of dust, grime and water – all that the road can throw at them in fact.
To help combat this, Slinky Glide produce a really quality product, a front fork tube made with an extra heavy duty durable chrome coating, which is really built to last. The extra thick chrome coating is designed to keep rust, pitting and flaking at bay, giving them a much longer life. Slinky Glide stanchions are motorcycle make and model specific, so the ones listed to your machine will be engineered to be a precision fit.
A quick visual check will show you if your bike needs new forks. If you see any sign of flaking, rust patches, oil leaks or accident damage such as dents or pitting, it is time to renovate your forks with good quality new ones from Slinky Glide. If you need to rebuild your forks the easy way, Slinky stanchions are also available in Complete Fork Kit form.
Fork rebuild kits are motorcycle specific and contain Teflon coated bushes, dust seals and fluid as well as the chrome coated stanchions, if you prefer to refurbish your forks this way.
